Elizabeth Warren Darling Watch
Once again we have to ask newspaper reporters: can’t they find any other word for Elizabeth Warren besides “darling”—a demeaning term used almost exclusively on women.
This time it’s the Boston Globe. The headline of the otherwise sexism-free article reads, “Democratic Darling has also been critic.” When is the media going to come up with another word? We even suggested several other non-gendered synonyms in our last blog post on this issue. Take a look.
