Hey Daily Show: If It’s Sexist for Newsweek to call Bachmann Crazy, Why Can You?
Everyone loves The Daily Show’s sharp observations about politics and in August Jon Stewart was pretty good at picking apart Newsweek’s sexist cover of Michele Bachmann.
But on Wednesday’s show Stewart did call Bachmann “crazy” and it’s worth noting, “crazy” is a term mostly reserved for female politicians.
A few weeks ago Slate’s Jessica Grose even noted the difference between Bachmann’s coverage and Rick Perry’s.
