FishBowl DC has created a sexist and racist poll on Rep. Corrine Brown’s hair. The reason? Because Brown has been on TV lately talking about Trayvon Martin.
We shouldn’t have to say that creating a poll about an elected woman’s hair is sexist and demeaning to her. (Seems like there’s a lot of hair coverage going around lately). So we’ve created out own poll. Maybe Peter Ogburn and Betsy Rothstein should read our new Media Guide to Gender Neutral Coverage of Women Candidates + Politicians?
